I Don't Need Your Bailout - Fayose to Buhari

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose on Tuesday, refuted that his state was bailed out
of insolvency by the Federal Government, following the release of intervention funds by
President Muhammadu Buhari to rescue bankrupt states.

Fayose who made the statement on his Twitter handle said
whatever accrued to the
state from the Federation Account was a legitimate earning of the state and not any
favour from the FG.
“The N2.1bn allocated to Ekiti State and N1.2bn for the 16 LGs is still on paper. It is
expected that we will get the payment next week, and June salary will be paid
immediately. He noted
