Popular Blogger, Promise Uzoma Okoro Arrested

Promise Uzoma Okoro, a popular Blogger in the southern part of Nigeria was picked up today by Delta state criminal investigative department of the Nigerian police.

This blog learnt authoritatively that he was arrested in portharcourt and transferred to Delta state where he is being interrogated for 5hours running.
The police suspected that he knew a fake account which have been blackmailing the Delta state governor.
When this blog contacted the detained blogger, he confirmed his arrest but explained that his  site was raided,the two news he published about Delta state was investigated very well which they found out that he merely sourced it from someone though he couldn't confirm wether he will be released soon.
All effort to contact the police public relations officer PPRO of Delta state police was futile.
